The cache is located within an old quarry which has been developed into a roadside park. Pipe clay was extracted here and taken by horse and cart to Drysdale station for dispatch by rail to Humes Pipes in Melbourne.
Strangely this area was always known to us when growing up as the gravel pits, oh well can't get everything right.
The area is now a pleasant park with toilets and picnic tables and plenty of space for the geo-termites to roam around.
Cache hides are relatively routine but there is a twist with a field puzzle to be solved at WP1. Approach the puzzle methodically and you will see the light.
FTF scratchie up for grabs.
