Geocache Description:


Everyone remembers M*A*S*H, right, whether it be the book by Richard Hooker, the 1970 movie starring Donald Sutherland and Elliott Gould, or the TV show with Alan Alda and a cast of characters. Well here's your chance to come as your favorite M*A*S*H character!! Shouldn't be hard -- most of them just wore khaki pants and t-shirts, or surgical attire. We can all do THAT, can't we?!?

This is the Third Annual M*A*S*H event. As with the last two year's banquets, the purpose of this event is two-fold:

1) to honor the various Hall of Famers and anyone else who is honor-worthy for some caching feat. There will be certificates for all who have qualified for any HoF since last year, plus Olympic style medals for the top three finishers for each of the new Hall of Fame caches since last year; and

2) to hand out some Purple Hearts to those cachers who have made it through some trying medical challenges since last year, as well as Silver Stars to those who supported them through their respective ordeals. Those of you who qualify (and you know who you are) just let me know if you would like to be honored with a Purple Heart (or if you would like to nominate someone else for a Purple Heart) and/or if you would like to hand out some Silver Stars and we'll make sure you are properly honored at the banquet. Anything from a sprained ankle to major surgery qualifies in this army, so don't be shy!!
