Geocache Description:

The circular 0.7m walk is suitable for wheelchair users but the actual cache is off the path in rough ground so not suitable.
Car park coordinates are N 55'51.832 W 03'40.972.

Welcome to Blaeberryhill Park - an open and natural green space that offers the opportunity for everyone to enjoy a taste of the outdoors.
For some gentle exercise, take a stroll along the paths throughout the park, exploring the White burn, the woodland and wetland.
Sit on a bench, have a picnic and see how many different plants and animals you can spot in each place.
If you are feeling more energetic, practice your skills on the sports pitches or in the skate park or visit on of the two playparks.
.
The local Whitburn poet John White (1859 - 1943) tells a story linked to the large stone in his poem 'Eppie Gray' or 'The tale of the Eppie Stane'.
Eppie cared for her flock of sheep in this place.

"White birdies sang on bank and brae
A love sang tae the openin' day.

The blithe cuckoo near yonder wood
filled up a passin' interlude.

The stripit bee wi' eerie drone
passed her by and made sweet moan.

An' the velvet-spotted butterfly
Hovered owre the daisy's eye.

This is only part of the poem.

There is parking in the park next to the community centre which can be quite busy. Also there are a lot of dog walkers using the park so stealth will be required at the cache.

The container is a screw top canister .
