Geocache Description:

No, the title is not a typo. In fact, some of you may have read it wrong. That's entirely my point. For many years, I taught middle school science. On of the first things I would do with a new class was to hold up a sign for about three seconds then pull it down. The sign read:

.Paris
in the
the spring.

I would ask the students what the sign said. The first student would eagerly spout, "Paris in the spring!"
"Wrong!" I would declare then proceed to call upon a second student who would less eagerly repeat the first. The third volunteer would be very hesitant to respond. The class wondered if I was crazy. (I may be, but that's beside the point.)
I would then hold the sign up again. Finally, a student would read it correctly.
My point was that we often see things the way we think they should be, not as they really are. We have been conditioned. I tell the students that it gets worse as we get older since we think we've seen it all and hurry to pigeon-hole events. After that, any time I mention "Paris in the the spring" to my class, it means for them to see what is really there, not what they think should be there.
Likewise with this cache. For some cachers, they will walk right past it if they are not observant to see what is really there... but not you.
You will need to bring your own pen to this cache. It's not there, really.
