One of our submarines Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Groetjes zondagsrijder.

Geocache Description:

July 25th, 1946

One of our submarines is missing.
Now Uncle Sam wants you to go out there to find it.
Be warned, beware, be alert, cause there's a hitherto unknown
and maybe dangerous kind of radiation near the mushroom cloud.

As usual with mystery caches, the coordinates above do not point at the cache location, nor will they be of any help at all in locating the submarine. No bikinis either at this spot. A bit further down the road they do sell canned tuna fish though.

Highly fascinating and informative stuff can be found on some kind of tube: HDLgNf0XPDk and Dg5EAeuontU

Once you discovered the whereabouts of the submarine, measure about 6 meters Northwest from the upmost part of the vessel and you will find the geocache.

If you need a radiation device and don't own one yourself, use the one hiding in a covered natural hole at 50 meter from the detonation spot. Please put it back after use so others can use it too. Thank you.

Enjoy your quest.

Psssst.
Don't tell anyone where the vessel is hiding.
Military stuff, highly classified!

May 19th: added extra hint as a note.
May 21st: added another note.
May 23rd: added an encrypted hint.
May 25th: added an extra star to help you find the detonation spot. It links to a visual impression of the subject following the dreary Tits. But where the hell has it been hidden?
May 27th: added a bleached hint on May 25th.
May 29th: A rag man predicts that the first one to discover the submarine will be crag e. echo

Once you found the submarine you are entitled to proudly wear the following decoration.
A word of warning from Uncle Sam: As you have learned on the spot, leaks are fatal to submarines ;-)
