I am shipping out to Air Force basic training May 8th 2012 so my mother and I decided to hide a cache together before I leave. we wanted to make it something cool to find so me made a larger cache than all the common micros around vermilion, and if someone logs damage to the cache, my mother will be taking care of it, so please let us know if something is wrong.
the cache is a clear plastic container with a blue lid with some Air Force stickers on it. I don't know how long the stickers will last but they make it look good while they do :P the yellow house on the west side belongs to my family, and they rent it out for the summer by the week, and the house on the east side was informed about the cache, so don't worry about trespassing or breaking any laws or anything. the cache is beyond the road block hidden in the rocks and TECHNICALLY on CITY property, but the house next to it mows it and takes care of it. you can park right in front of the road block and its just a short walk from there. when I was little visiting my grandma in the yellow house, we use to watch people park at that road block just to look at the lake all the time. now people can also find a cache while stopping to admire beautiful lake Erie :) (UPDATE! 06 May 2017) : Thanks everyone for the kind words and i am SO happy to see everyone enjoying this cache! For those wondering how i am doing, i am an engine mechanic for the F16s and right now i am in the 96th AMXS stationed back in the US at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach Florida area.
