Geocache Description:

A small cache in the corner of a field on a public footpath. The walk to this site for me offered great views towards Goonhilly and other places that I couldn't name but still beautiful even with the A394 quite nearby.

There is parking available in a lay by with room for maybe two cars and from there you can pick up the footpath by using the stone style next to the gate. From here the footpath is a bit sketchy and was hard to follow even with my trusty OS mapping but by following another stone style and sticking to the edge of the field and trusting your GPS you shouldn't go far wrong!

Be careful walking around this area as there is what looks like a collapsed mine shaft en-route but it is cordoned off and sticking to the edge of the field would be safest, especially with children and geohounds!

At GZ, which is rather overgrown (not for long maybe!), the style leads into a field which has a barbed wire fence around it but someone has cut some away so it can be climbed over safely. The footpath carries on but is very hard to follow and is not marked as far as I can tell except for on the map.

The cache is small but roomy enough for small swaps and TBs and contains a log book and pen. We hope you enjoy finding this cache and enjoy a walk and the views!

Happy caching!
