In Vaðborgin, just east of Glæsibær few good elves live in harmony with men and animals.
Please place the cache back in the hiding place and leave the caching site as it was when you entered it, preferably in better condition.
One can take short hike along the track towards the Miklavatn. Go through the 3 gates and please close them once you are in, because there might be horses arround or sheeps if not both - we do not want them to escape the farm, do we?
On the way towards the Vaðborgin one can see the local elves church in the main Borg.
Vaðborgin is closer to the lake and has good view over the Skagafjörður. In the spring time the area is well situated for bird viewing.
One can see both Drangey and Mælifellshnjúkur from the cache site, not at once though.
Víkurtorfan, where one can park the car is located in the Part of Skagafjörður that before belonged to Staðarhreppur. There is one of the icelandic microbrewery located in the next farm Útvík.
