Wong Shek is on Sai Kung Peninsula, on the shore of Long Harbour 赤徑海, since it is near Tai Po than Sai Kung, the residents are closer relationship and connection with Tai Po.
.There is a water sport centre at Wong Shek. It's runs by government and offers lots of kayak, dinghy and windsurfing training in low price.
Legal BBQ site and camp site are located in Wong Shek as well. The camp site is recommended for wild camp beginners only. Wong Shek has a public pier and a bus terminus.
