Fairly quick grab. Your looking for a glass jar (all I had on hand). So please be careful with it! Cache contains items to initiate trading. Was doing some climbing in the area and felt the urge to hide a cache!
This is just a quick grab for those who are in the area. There is a good parking spot obvious from the road. The coordinates for the parking lot are:
N 47* 01.382
W 119* 59.518
I would recommend parking at parking lot, as there is a gate to walk through there. Parking along the road closer to cache involves tricky maneuvers over a barb wire fence. Careful, this is a known climbers parking lot, we can be a wiley bunch!
This interesting rock formation lords tallest over other lesser subjects in the area. It also provides a bird-poop covered vantage point from its summit of two coulees. On your left is Frenchman coulee, and your right is Echo Basin. Echo Basin contains many of the climbs in the Vantage area, and the parking lot is an entrance to climbs along its lower walls.
Thought this area could use a cache. Its an easy walk to the cache site, which is also in view of the parking lot, so use appropriate stealth! By the looks of things, most of these formations get visitors as well. Area can be very busy on weekends!
