Werrington Cricket Club is the only club in Cornwall to have 5 senior teams play each week, plus girls & youth teams. The 1st eleven are in the Cornwall Premier League, and were runners up in 2011. Although Werrington is only a small hamlet they attract players from all surrounding areas, and it's always been well known that they do the 'best cricket tea's in Cornwall' !!
The original clubhouse burnt down, and was replaced in 1987.
You do not have to go into the cricket pitch to retrieve this cache, but if there is a game on it's nice to stay and enjoy the views. On a clear day you can see right over to Dartmoor.
Please replace cache exactly where found and make sure it's well hidden.
You will need tweezers to retrieve log book and a pen to sign.
Small parking area is available across the road.
