Bridges Of Benton COunty #2

This is a series of caches that will take you to some well known bridges and maybe to a few that you didn’t know existed. Enjoy the view!

Spanning Bear Creek in Shellsburg, this bridge has seen its better days but the architecture is very cool. You can find it listed in the National Register of Historic Places (#98000770). Built in 1915, it’s nearing 100 years old.

While you’re in the area, be sure to check out the Blue Star Memorial near the east end.
