The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but it is within two miles. Don't hunt the cache from inside the parking lot. Hunt it from the sidewalk. It is directly behind the tree, 20 feet east of the light post.
I'm a big fan of the puzzle caches of Moe311. I just now noticed, in fact, that this has been true for at least four years. As a newbie cacher in July 2008, I wrote, in one log, "I've become a huge fan of Moe's caches and look forward to my next opportunity to be in the area to convert some more puzzle solves into actual finds! TNLNSL. TFTC!"
Anyway, a clever cache of his is "Ed, I Hide." Have a look.
OK, back to business here: here is all the information you will need to find this geocache:
- The entire 15-digit set of coordinates is a palindrome (decimal points and degree symbols are excluded)
- The cache is within two miles of the posted coordinates
- The checksum is less than 54
These three pieces of information should be enough for you to pinpoint the location of the cache. If you have more than one solution that meets all three conditions, email me and I will help you narrow down your possibilities.
Don't hunt the cache from inside the parking lot. Hunt it from the sidewalk. It is directly behind the tree, 20 feet east of the light post.
Have fun, and BYOP! Oh, and thanks to moe311 for all your great puzzles. Keep 'em coming!
