Be outstanding in your field
Come join us at 12:00 PM (Noon) Saturday, June 9, 2012, for World Wide Flash Mob IX at Selma Stage Stop Park. We'll be there for 15 minutes for this event.
So what is a World Wide Flash Mob? There will be 100's of events similar to this going on throughout the world at the same time we're having ours. They won't be doing the same thing. But they'll be showing up to their location, doing something for 15 minutes, and then leaving.
So what will we be doing? Have you ever wanted to be known for being outstanding in your field? Here's your chance. Park at the above coordinates, and then walk over into the field (N 29° 34.899 W 098° 18.367). Bring something with you that will give hints to everyone else of what you're outstanding at. Don't just bring your GPSr and say you're an outstanding geocacher. Show some creativity.
From the parking lot to the edge of the field is definitely handicapped accessible. Beyond the edge of the field could be tougher. Don't let this stop you from coming. If you show up you can log the event.
The event will only take 15 minutes, so afterwards let's go eat. There's a Rudy's and a Cheddars just around the corner. Post your choice in your Will Attend log. We'll make the final decision in the field.
