Geocache Description:

In the vicinity of the cache, which is located was the origin of the "Mikkabi" place name of this place "Mikkaike".
このキャッシュの付近には、この場所の地名「三ヶ日」の由来となった「三日池」があります。

この池は三日池といいます。
昔々、村の長者が魚をとろうとして人を雇い3日間水をくむが池の水を干すことができなかった。そこからこの池を三日池と呼ぶようになったようです。
・長者を三日長者。
・長者の住む村を三ヶ日村と呼ぶようになったようです。

ほとんどの名所旧跡がそうであるように、この三日池も、その由緒を醸し出す現状ではありませんが、是非足を運んでみてください。
