Geocache Description:

Part of the Fort Smith Parks and Recreation Geocache Series, be sure to check them all out!

This park is created for Fido to be able to interact with his friends. Please obey the posted rules while in the park. This park is on land that is owned by the airport, but with working together we are able to give you this unique place to let your dog run! There are several different tree species in this area. In the Cache location there are several species, can you identify any of them? They are all common to this area. Smaller with ‘warts’ on the bark is a hackberry. These trees are easily identifiable by this bark characteristic.
