Geocache Description:

Start your engines! Now for the main event! A night to sit around and talk caching and/or take a run on the track. Who is the champion of racing in the caching community? We will find out Friday July 13th at the track! I Wanna Go Fast! 2 at Lake County Speedway! If your ready for the greatest caching event on wheels, come out and show what you've got! Sooo strap on that helmet, climb in a go cart, buckle up and drive it like you stoled it! Event logbook will open at 6pm along with an open racing session. At 7pm the main event will kickoff with the start of bracket races narrowing down the field of racers to the Championship race and awarding of trophys to the winner and runner up at 9pm. There will then be open racing from 9-10pm to close out the evening. All are welcome whether you just want to spectate from the stands or climb in a cart and give it a whirl. There will be 3 different catergories for the evening. The first is "Spectator" which is anyone who attends the event but does not wish to race on the track. The second is "Open Racer" which is someone who wants to run go carts but does not want to compete for the Championship. This class can run as much as able/wanted during the 6-7pm & 9-10pm open sessions. The third is "Championship Racer" which is for anyone wishing to prove that they are the racing Champion. This class can run in open sessions and will also compete for the title/trophy of Champion of I Wanna Go Fast! 2

I will need a general head count for the event. Please log "Will Attend" by July 7th 2012. With your log please specify what class of attendee you will be Spectator, Open or Championship.

Spectator = Free
Open Class = $10-$20 per racer
Championship Class = $15-$25 per racer

Actual cost will depend on how many people are racing.

Track provides helmets for use. If you have your own helmet you are welcome to bring it.

At this point I believe that the concession stand will be available for our use.

As always with caching activities, Cache/Attend/Race at own risk. Track, Track personel, Event organizers nor other racers will held responsible for any injury or loss.

Please put this event on your Watchlist as I will post notes for any updates, new info, ect.

Key thing is come out and have a great evening with your fellow cachers! My hopes are that this will be the first of an annual Event!

Any questions or ideas feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
CrazyKC
