This cache has been archived.

wvmarle: That's a pity!

I don't see myself going to replace it any time soon, so that's the end of this cache. It lasted for a good long time at least :)

The Yellow and White of an Egg.

The golden egg is the focal point of the Hong Kong Science Park which is located roughly halfway Tai Po and Sha Tin, along the waterfront of Tolo Harbour. It houses several technology-related companies, which enjoy favourable rent and facilities. The park has been set up to promote the development of research and development in Hong Kong.

The basic parts of the egg are the shell, the egg white and the yellow yolk. They all have different uses for either the chick to grow, or as food for other species such as humans. Eggs are also prevalent in other parts of our culture, such as in our language. There are many expressions related to eggs, such as:

  • To egg someone on.
  • Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
  • Don't teach your grandmother to suck eggs.
  • To have egg on one's face.
  • He that would have eggs must endure the cackling of hens.
  • To kill the goose that lays the golden egg.
  • You can not make an omelet without breaking eggs.
  • To walk on eggs.
  • To have scrambled eggs for brains.
  • To be a rotten egg.

When replacing the cache, return it to the exact same place, as the rest of the structure is not magnetic and it won't stick there.

Getting there.

Science Park can be reached by KMB route 272K from University MTR, 272S from Diamond Hill MTR and 43P from Tsuen Wan MTR, by minibus 27 from Sha Tin MTR station, or by bicycle from either Tai Po or Sha Tin directions cycling along the Tolo Harbour waterfront.
The above list of expressions is just a red herring. It's about yellow and white isn't it? Now then, here is some white text for you. And the cache coordinates, as reward for finding this text: N 22° 25.502, E 114° 12.819.
