Dearly Departed - Dean Traditional Geocache
The Caching Dead: The hiding spot for this one has changed quite a bit since we originally hid the cache. We'll open up this cemetery for someone else to place one here or we may place a new cache in another spot in the future.

Part of the Dearly Departed series which was created to bring cachers to some of the beautiful and historic cemeteries in Texas. Please be very respectful in your visit. Do not visit this cache after dark.
Spotted this cemetery many years ago and always wanted to visit it. Many unique and interesting headstones here.
On our visit, we found the perfect spot for a cache, and someone else had the same idea many years ago. An old cache was placed here and subsequently archived, but the container wasn't removed. We removed the old container and placed a new cache in order to bring cachers to this great old cemetery.
UPDATE: A new exit and bridge have made this cemetery much easier to access. Old driving directions have been removed.
