You can see the Tokyo Urban Waterside View and in fine day also feel nice breeze. Enjoy Tokyo for visiting this park
Etchujima area was past (in Edo era) island as its named. (-jima means island in japanese ) so this point was past the south end point of Edo city. and if you have time,I hope you visit Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology near this cache point. There you can see Ｍｅｉｊi-Maru ( one of Japanese Important Cultural Treasures ) [*NOTE* now at May 2012,Meiji-Maru is under repair ,so you cannot see directly.] also many cultural buildings can be seen at this University (see University Web Site). Please bring a pen.

比較的人通りの少ない場所に設置したつもりではありますが、天気の良い日などはたくさんの人がお散歩やジョギング、犬の散歩などに訪れる場所です。
周囲にはお気をつけ下さい。
また、近くには東京海洋大学があり、ここには日本最古の鉄船である明治丸があります。
今は修理中とのでなかまでは見学できませんが、外見は見えるかもしれません。
船ですが、建築物として日本の重要文化財に指定されています。
同大学には歴史的に価値のある建造物がほかにもありますので、ぜひお時間あればお寄り下さい。
