This part of the walk takes you along the river, please be careful, the river is very deep in certain places and sometimes it floods the track, in the summer the nettles are very high and wild so long trousers would be a bonus, I would also advise you wear a sturdy pair of walking boots as I have seen a lot of adders and grass snakes along this track.
You will also pass a field with cows in, if you have a Geohound please keep him/her on the lead passing this field, there is sometimes a bull in here as well. (The walk doesn't go through the field.)
Watch out for the old wooden bridge, its a bit unstable here, in the spring the daffodils are amazing, you may also find a bonus cache around here! (Terracaching)
Its a bit of a walk from this cache to the next, due to the area being a "SAM" area, we have been unable to hide another cache between here and no.8. So follow the path, to the next bridge, then you will see the footpath signs
