Geocache Description:

As this is our first cache, what better place to set it free than in our own home town of York; WA's oldest inland town. Take the time to wander around the banks of the Avon River, have a BBQ at Avon Park and walk the swing bridge. The original, temporary bridge was constructed in 1853, with the reconstructed bridge completed in 1988. A lovely spot, particularly in winter, with lots of history (and a few other caches) close by.

The cache is a good ol' nano. BYO pen. Please pay particular attention to replace the cache carefully and keep a lookout for Muggles as the area can become very busy.
