Geocache Description:


This cache has been placed to celebrate planning my first orienteering event! The Keyne-O series of local orienteering events takes place once a month in the different parks around Milton Keynes. I planned the courses for the event which took place at Howe Park Wood on Sunday 13th May 2012 and thought that a few Geocachers may be interested in having a go at a different sort of navigation for a bit of fun!

The events are open to anyone and are run by the South Midlands Orienteering Club. They are great for beginners and more experienced orienteerers who fancy a good run around. There are 3 different courses "amble" ~ 3km - controls are all easy to find, "trot" ~ 5km - controls may be a bit more challenging and the "run"~ 7km - controls are again a bit more challenging.

I hope you enjoy finding this cache! It is my first hide. It is a green plastic box containing a logbook, pot of bubbles and trophy for the FTF!
