The cache is situated just off a woodland trail at a higher level than the lakeside path. Lakeside parking would mean a climb up to the path, but parking off Hill Top Road would give easier access for pushchairs.
When my children were young they named this area 'The Giant's Bath' (although there is never any water in it!) We would come here (long before Geocaching was established) for them to discover the giant's hidden stores of sweets, behind trees or under rocks, whilst he was out hunting in the woods. The children needed stealth and speed so that the giant didn't catch them! They loved the 'hide and seek' games in this area. We now play the same games with our grandchildren who always make a bee-line for 'The Giant's Bath' when we visit this lovely area. They helped me hide our first geocache here, but asked me to tell you to listen out for any 'Fee Fi Fo Fums'!
The cache contains only a log. Please remember to bring a pen and replace cache carefully in location as described in Spoiler hint.
