The Event
Most years have 365 days. This is a leap year, so it has 366 days. But this year also has a leap second which happens at 23:59:60 on June 30. If you want to read more about this see the link at the Related Web Page above.
So since time is going to freeze for a second we should get together and celebrate with something frozen. Okay, it's really just my way of bribing my kiddos with frozen yogurt so I can have an event.
Since the leap second occurs here right at 7:00 PM we'll start gathering around 6:45 PM. Stay as long as you want. If you want to go to dinner first there are a lot of places around here to eat. And hopefully the 1604/281 construction won't turn getting to the event into a 5/5.
