Miraculously, I managed to get the first-to-find on the Periodic Table of the Elements Challenge. I owe a great debt to all the cachers who have hidden caches with names containing elements, so I thought I could add to my karma by hiding a few more of my own.
Terbium oxide is used in fluorescent lamps and color TV tubes. So, basically, we have terbium to blame not only for the awful lighting we have at our workplaces that reduces our skin tone to a putrescent orange and gives us a headache after ten minutes of exposure, but also for the boob tube which singlehandedly replaced what could have been a productive childhood for me reading King Lear with an endless stream of Scooby Doo, Voltron, and Transformers. Terbium is truly the element of the damned.
