D’Materialien Gold a Selwer an och d’Amselen sen vum Wopen vun der Herrschaft Klierf. Den Hiirtestaf an der Form vum Beschofsstaf symboliséiert dat fréiert Nonneklouster vun den Augustinerinnen. D’Andreaskraeiz weist op d’Héichtelag un enger villbereester Stroossekraeizung hin. De Wopen steet och nach emmer am Afank vum Duerf, kuerz virum aalen Hotel Hippert.
Hei fannt Der dann och de Gebuertsdagscache vum Nils, engem vun „DéiWëll5VanHusen“.

The materials Gold an Silwer as well as the blackbirds come from the arms of the county of Clervaux. The shepherd’s crook is the symbol of the former nunnery of the Augustinians. The cross of Andreas symbolizes the geographical good position of Hosingen on a crossing in a hilly region.
