I decided to go for a mild hike today. No caches to pick up as I have them all in this part of the park. Bummer.
I soon realized this is not a mild hike, but an exhausting one, particularly when lugging a heavy regular cache with "stache". This part of Hacienda Trail goes uphill for a very long way. That's why the terrain is a 3.0. Doc says I have to take it easy. Hmm....I will nextie time :)
For some reason, as I approached the best place I could find for this cache, the song "Tie A Yellow Ribbon....." popped in my little empty head. It stuck with me.....hence the name. This is not an oak tree and I am clueless for what kind it is. Yes, there is PO in the area and close to GZ. However, it can be avoided. Please recover better than you found it if possible. Thanks!
Enjoy and be sure to bring water. Watch for snakes and ticks, PO, elephants, tigers, and bears.
A rattlesnake was spotted today along this trail by a muggle. Happy Trails to youuuuuu! ::::singing:::"Oh, tie a yellow ribbon 'round the ............." :-)
Oh yeah, almost forgot. There's in a $1 bill, a funky "pill" cache w/log inside, and a funky FTF certificate, all for the FTF! ;-) Prizes are located in the plastic baggie with the log and pencil.
Congratulations to Geokashers for FTF!
