palmetto: As there's been no response to my earlier log, I'm archiving this listing.
If you want the cache unarchived, this may be possible in the very near future, if it meets the current listing guidelines. It will not be unarchived if I both disabled and archive it.

Geocache Description:

Another in a unique series of Geocaches accessible only by kayak, canoe, or paddle board. Experience cathedral-like mangrove creeks and enclosed salt ponds as you explore the offshore island of Boot Key.

The cache is accessible from the City of Marathon beach-front park known as Sombrero Beach or from any where on Boot Key Harbor, famous for the City of Marathon managed anchorage and mooring field. From either location, traverse Sister's Creek and then Whiskey Creek seeking the interior of the island.

Round trip from the Beach takes 2 1/2 hours hustling. Relax. Enjoy yourself. A comfortable trip while exploring side creeks and channels is worth 1/2 a day.

Have fun!! I have loaded a map of kayak routes through the island. You can make a loop out of it and never retrace a foot. Again, enjoy the day and your find.
