A cache on an isolated hill in Chiltern Mt Pilot National Park.
Triangle Peak isn't the Matterhorn, but it's a pleasant walk through the bush to get to the summit from whichever way you come. Notice how the vegetation changes as you go from the stringybark forest on the deeper soils lower down to the red-gums with stypandra under-storey on the shallower-soil granite hill tops.
Not much of a view but you'll certainly feel isolated on the summit. No muggles about....
Best way in is from the PK waypoint at a dam on West Triangle Rd, but you can walk in from South Triangle, or even East Triangle if you want a longer hike.
Cache is a small Systema container with only a logbook and pencil - I left the toys back in the car!
