TB Hotel @Birds Island / TB-отель "Птичий остров" Traditional Geocache

A TB Hotel was “opened” on a Bird Island. It is a small island in the Komsomolskoye Lake which is situated in the Victory Park. The island is a nature reserve and used to be “uninhabited” for people as one could only reach there by boat or catamaran or by swimming. But after the reconstruction of the park (2008-2011) a bridge united the island and the main land. Ecological route was laid through the island so now it is a perfect place for recreation inside a huge recreation area of the Victory park.

TB-отель «открылся» на Птичьем острове. Этот маленький остров в Комсомольском озере находится в Парке Победы. Остров является естественным заповедником и раньше был «необитаем» для людей. Попасть на него можно было только на лодке, катамаране или вплавь. После реконструкции парка остров и «большую землю» соединил мост. Через него была проведена экологическая тропа и сейчас остров является отличным местом для отдыха внутри еще большей зоны отдыха – Парка Победы.
