Geocache Description:

This Cache is placed in Kranzkloof Nature Reserve as part of 2012 D/T Challenge. It is along the Yellow Trail.

The trail to this Cache takes you into Kranzkloof nature reserve and down to the bottom of the gorge where it follows the river.
It is a pleasant scenic walk however the walk out of the gorge can be very challenging.
This was a spur of the moment cache as a group of us were walking along the trail and came across this interesting looking tree.
There are two ways of getting to the cache. By either parking at the Kranskloof picnic site or the Uve road parking. You will need to follow the yellow trail. It is possible to combine the walk with the beacon trail to make it a circular walk.
Krantzkloof Nature Reserve is run by Ezemvelo Wildlife and a nominal admission charge of R15 is levied at the picnic site. Wild Cards are no longer accepted, but a Rhino Gold card will get you free entry.
