ninotori 7 the strangler Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
One of a series from Nibbin and the Rascal our 9 year old - based upon a splendid walking/cycling route from our home. The series is NIbbin's NO Thorns or Ivy (NINOTORI).
The walk/ride starts on a bridle way in North Abingdon where we live - parking can be found in nearby South Avenue. This bridle way once lead from the edge of the town into the countryside around - it now passes a large housing estate and in places still retains the signs of the old hedgerow that marked the route. This seventh cache is beyond Bayworth; you need to take the foopath across a field from the village to a splendid wooded section. In the top corner of the field the path crosses a bridge into the woods – there are trolls living here so the cache could not be left under the bridge! The ‘log’ is hiding behind the strangler on a lonesome small tree! No hints are offered - but we are sure you will a-light on this – we will give a hint if too many people fail to find it. All our caches are pain free - we cannot bear scrabbling through countless ivy bushes/trees - or getting stung, scratched or torn to shreds for pleasure thus no thorns or ivy (NINOTORI) - enjoy.
