Located on a hill near a trail at the back of the park. The trails leading up there are steep, but passable. Some poison oak/ivey in the area, but not as much as in other parts of the park.
I named this cache for the vultures that like to sun themselves nearby on cold winter mornings, but not too close to the cache. Cleburne State Park is a beautiful place with a variety of different terrains. This area is more open than some parts of the park, and has a lot of small clearings between the trees. During the Spring it is a great place for wildflower veiwing, and is a good place for bird watching. The area is not as traveled as some parts of the park, but stealth may still be neede at times. If you see any of the Park Rangers please tell them how much you love the Park. They have really been working hard to make improvements, and they have some Beautiful new facilities. You will be looking for an old tackle box.
