wisamobi: This cache disappeared as to construction works. These construction works unfortunately are also the reason for archiving this geocache. The Location lost what originally was the reason to place a geocache at this point. You still have a nice view from here but it is no place anymore for a geocache.

Geocache Description:




A nice place to have a short break, enjoy the scenic view to the area of Plakias in the shadow of the rest area and ... ... log a simple park and grab cache.

As we spent our holiday now more than one time in this region and went up and down this small winding road between Souda and Sellia. Just another time where we preferred to take the way which needs a bit more effort but let us enjoy the wonderful view to the Finikas. Unfortunately the driver has to take care of the road and its dozens of turns. So finding this small rest area opened the opportunity for both of us 'wisa' as well as 'mobi' to enjoy the wide view to the east with Plakias in the front and the area of Asomatos, Damnoni, Preveli and last but not least Timeos Stavros - JS#3 Timios Stavros a hill with a awesome 360 degrees view to the surrounding area. If possible do not miss this great cache by jorusol.



Nevertheless the cache is hidden and you have to remove 'something' to get it – please do this carefully! We recommend to be very careful grabing into holes or other unclear areas – especially if you are searching together with kids. You should know that there are some kinds of animals which could harm you more or less. It is not very likely to encounter these animals while you are on your cache tour. But it is better to know about any possible risks!
