Geocache Description:

This is an easy walk from the Nature Center which begins on the Walk-in-the-Woods loop trail. A Black Cherry Tree is a favorite to teach children that not all trees grow straight. We like to call it the dancing tree and encourage the children to wiggle and dance like the tree.

The Black Cherry tree is one of the most bird-friendly trees. It is known to attract 75+ different kinds of birds that feed on it's fruit.
Students from Little Sprouts were learning about maps and geocaching during their last week of the year in Nature pre-school and placed their first geocache in the park.
