Geocache Description:

This cache has been laid as part of the TeamSOS trail along the Southend Borough seafront.

Updated 4 Nov 2012 - You are now looking for a small pot at base of post.

You may wish to walk along the route. You can cycle along the cycle path which runs along the majority of the seafront along series.

TRANSPORT
BUSES - There is a good bus service between Shoeburyness and Southend Town Centre on the Arriva Number 9.
TRAINS - The railway line runs parallel to the seafront and there are train stations at Shoeburyness, Thorpe Bay, Southend East, Southend Central, Westcliff, Chalkwell, Leigh on sea and Benfleet.
I've added a link to an interesting short film about Southend in 1964, narrated by Johnny Morris. I hope you enjoy it.
