Ladybird Beetle Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GSFirefly: I checked my stash of cache containers and found that I do not have the right sort of replacement. Rather than popping in something generic, I am bidding adieu to Ladybird Beetle.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Plenty of safe parking at wide and long paved turnout. RV's or semis would fit. Handicachable when road is snow-free. Cache otherwise OK in moderate snow.

Fifth in our "bugs, beetles, insects, etc." series. I use common names; RLDrosophila uses scientific terminology. Either way, these little guys and gals should be quick finds.

Micro container with interior nano tube holding log. You'll need a pen, as well as tweezers or pin to extract log.

There are four genuine U.S.A. quarters for the FTF.

Congrats to X-C Shadow on the FTF. You were fast!

And kudos to the ever-energetic and ever-vigilant Wiildrose on the STF. Glad to see you both had fun with this.

BTW, Wiildrose, I too grew up calling it "Ladybug." But I am married to a biologist, and he has always maintained that the correct common name is "Ladybird Beetle." Our insect book confirms this. So "Ladybird Beetle" she is!
