While dropping off a new map to the park ranger, I placed a cache. Geo-partner found it afterwards,so it's pretty right on. The ranger was new to the park, but NOT to GEOCACHING and is ecstatic to have cachers come to the area. Today's visit will bring even MORE good things to come! BYOP and a picnic basket. Say hey to the ranger and pick up a map while you're here.
This series is called (HAD) Hanging Around Deercreek to bring you to this beautiful state park. This is the most visited state park in Ohio, so muggles will be everywhere. The reason for the "hanging" part is due to the fact that they have had their 100 year flood twice in the last 10 years. We will be hiding them up in an effort to not have to replace them. This series has NO tree climbing. We ask that you CITO due to the fact that there has been cuts to funding of the state parks and they can use our help.
