Voici l'article paru dans La Tribune de Genève le 31 Octobre 2009 :
Deux membres présumés de la pègre de France voisine ont hier, samedi vers 15h15 réussi un braquage de la station service Tamoil à proximité du centre commercial de la Praille. Après avoir braqué l'employée avec des fusils d’assault de type AK-47, ils sont repartis avec l’intégralité de la recette du week-end à bord d'une camionnette orange de la société TNT Express volée à la gare de frêt de la Praille peu avant.
Vers 15h40 la camionnette a été arrêtée pour un contrôle de routine par les douaniers de Moillesulaz au poste de frontière.
A bord se trouvaient les deux malfaiteurs – Francesco Mimoletto 57 ans et Nickoleï Stratokovitch 46 ans - n’ont montré aucune résistance lors de leur interpellation et ont remis leur armes à la Police. Ils ont été formellement identifiés par l'employée de Tamoil ainsi que par des clients de l’Odéon qui ont vu la camionnette tourner à vive allure devant le restaurant, sont tous deux bien connus des services de renseignements européens pour de nombreuses escroqueries et vols perpétrés en France et en Europe.
Par contre il n'y avait aucune trace du butin dans la camionnette. La police a lancé un appel aux témoins qui auraient pu apercevoir la camionnette hier après-midi afin de reconstituer le parcours et de localiser d’éventuels complices ou planque sur le trajet.
Jusqu'à ce jour, le butin n'a pas été retrouvé. Nickoleï et Francesco ont pris respectivement 6 ans et 5 ans, mais ont depuis été extradés vers la France où ils devront purger leurs peines.

Yesterday, Saturday around 15:15, two alleged members of the French underworld made a successful hold-up in the Tamoil petrol station close to La Praille shopping center. After having pointed the employee with AK-47, they escaped, on board an orange van belonging the company TNT Express stolen at the nearby the freight train station of La Praille few minutes before, with the whole revenue of the weekend.
Around 15:40 the van was stopped for a routine inspection by the customs officers of Moillesulaz.
On board the two criminals - Francesco Mimoletto 57 years and Nickoleï Stratokovitch 46 years - did not show any resistance during their interpellation and gave their weapons to the Police. They were formally identified by the employee of Tamoil and by customers of Odéon who saw the van turning at high speed in front of the restaurant, are both well-known from European intelligence services for many swindlings, fraud and roberries perpetrated in France and Europe.
There was no trace of the money in the van. The police seek for the witnesses who could have seen the van in order to reconstitute the yesterday afternoon course and to locate possible confederates or hideouts on the way.
So far, the loot has not been found. Nickoleï and Francesco have respectively been sentenced to 6 years and 5 years, and have already been extradited to France where they will have to serve their sorrows.
