Deutsch:

Dieser Cache ist wie der Name bereits verrät der Volksschule Arndorf gewidmet. Da ich vor einigen Jahren selbst diese Schule besuchen durfte, freut es mich an diesem Ort meine erste Dose auszulegen.

Die VS Arndorf ist eine kleine Volksschule zugehörig zur Gemeinde Kapfenberg. Zu meiner Zeit (um die Jahrtausendwende) wurde sie mit etwa 40 Schülern noch zweiklassig geführt, mittlerweile teilen sich 19 Kinder aller 4 Schulstufen einen Klassenraum. Dies hat nun dazu geführt, dass die VS Arndorf von den Schließungsmaßnahmen des Landes betroffen ist. Auch wenn einige Argumente dagegen sprechen wird das heurige Schuljahr 2011/12 die Existenz dieser Volksschule besiegeln.
Ein Grund mehr die VS Arndorf mit einem Cache zu verewiegen.

This Cache is, as its name says, dedicated to the elmentary school in Arndorf. I'm pleased to hide my very first box at this location, cause I attended this school for myself some years ago.

The elementary school in Arndorf is a small school belonging to the district Kapfenberg. 10 years ago there were about 40 pupils taught in two classrooms, meanwhile 19 kids of different levels of education are sharing one single room. This fact has led to the decision of the government to close the school. Even tough several arguments stand against this measure, the schoolyear 2011/12 will end the existence of this school.
One more reason to eternize the elementary school in Arndorf with a cache.
