This is a short series of caches hidden along the US 202 / Washington Street corridor, with its purpose being to pad your numbers. I created this group of caches for my fellow area geo-maniacs, who may be sitting around growing bored and "just have to make a quick cache run". Enjoy!
UPDATE: Summer, 2013 - There may be wasps or stinging insects at the final GZ. Be warned.
I tried to make the third in this series a bit more challenging and it's also my first multi. The info you need is at the listed waypoint, a quick stroll from the posted parking coordinates.
Take some time to enjoy the French-Hussey family plot. In 2008, it caused quite a stir locally when developers were literally poised to doze it under. A preservationist blockaded the site with her mortal coil until a legal solution was reached. A rare victory for historic sites in this community.
There's no need to park on, or approach from Woodlawn Road. It is a tiny neighborhood with no outlet. Repeat after me: Stealth... Stealth... Stealth! Now, breathe. There's a golf pencil in the cache, but always bring your back-up. No trades, please.
On the monument's reverse, find the year of birth for Andrew French: Subtract 1,205 from that number for the last three digits of the final coordinates:
N 43° 17.912 W 070° 59.XXX
The final will take you to where the French-Hussey farm stood until c. 1990.
