This cache was placed in part of the Heartland Forest. We found this area while trying to put together our first puzzle cache that we are working on. Not sure how long before the forest floor springs to life...

You are looking for a small cache, not hard to find but terrain will be muddy and the bugs plentiful. Just our way of saying" WELCOME TO THE SOUTH END".
This forest is part of the Heartland Forest, cachers have been coming here for many years. The owner ,"Dan" has not only graciously allowed caches to be planted on the premises, but has allowed us to hosted a few events here as well.
This cache is on the opposite side of the park and trails....so far . Dan is still developing the area, not only to preserve a wetland, but as a nature reserve for handicapped children. This park offers alot to both kids and adults. Although construction is still being done on the park it is still accessible, lots to do. If visiting make sure you check out the tree house it is one of my kids favorite places to see when we are there.
