P&M's 50 Cache Dash is a series of fifty caches placed along a scenic route south east of Pretoria. The route runs along Rietvlei Nature Reserve for the first stretch, so be sure to do some game spotting as well as cache spotting, and then runs through some more rural and agricultural areas before heading back towards Pretoria again.
We have tried to mix things up along the way so some caches will be easy to find and others will be more difficult, the container sizes and types are not all the same and their hiding spots should hopefully also keep you guessing as you go. We placed this series as our way of saying thank you for all the fun we have had in our first year of geocaching, so we really hope that you enjoy it and have fun too!
This spot has a set of gates on either side of the road. There was a small herd of 7 zebras at the gate who were watching us when we hid the cache. The pattern on the gates also reminded us of zebra stripes. The cache contains a logsheet, cache note and pencil, and can accommodate small trackables and swag.
