Jessie&Sophie's mom: Put these caches out when I had help from my fur babies Jessie and Sophie. Archiving to allow someone else to have the opportunity to start new adventures!

Geocache Description:

Decided to add a B series and explore more of these great trails. Starts after the fork in the road - keep straight/right and go across the bridge over the small sream. Finally able to place this no. 1 nano cache away from a multi cache that is near-by. There are 5 in this series and will add more to make at least 10 caches. I've rated no. 1 as a 4 difficulty due to the natural cammo job.

Update 2014-04-13** Please note that this area is a PROTECTED WATERSHED and all cachers must follow geocaching guidelines set out by Halifax Regional Water Commission which can be found at (visit link)

Pockwock Lake is the water supply for Halifax, Bedford, Sackville, Timberlea, Fall River and Waverley. The watershed is protected by provincial designation and is primarily owned by the Crown. HRWC jointly manages the watershed with the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources. The watershed encompasses approximately 5661 hectares.

Congrats to Salty_ca for FTF!! I'll leave the difficulty at a 4 as most are finding it but they have all been seasoned cachers thus far.

This is a series of caches in the Pockwock Watershed area placed to combine geocaching with exercise in fresh air. Starting point is Exit 3 Hwy 101, Mount Uniacke. Park using the south east (heading to Halifax) entrance ramp to 101. All caches are on or in a tree, at eye level, approx. 4 - 5 ft., just off the trail, no real bushwacking, and are winter friendly.

This is a great area for walking, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, etc. Great place to take dogs for exercising, but please scoop the poop. Gravel roads go for miles. The Pockwock Walk Series of 15 caches takes approx. 2.5 hrs. round trip, walking and without snow on the ground. The 'B' series should take a little over an hour round trip walking and without any snow on the ground.
