This hanging micro is hid by the sidewalk of 16th Street just down from 1st Avenue as you head to the public beach that is not fronted by a hotel or beach club. It's not a great spot to swim because the local co-op fishermen's boats are lined up at waters edge, but its a great spot to enjoy nonetheless.
This cache was placed to remind us of our 3 week stay at the Plantation House which you see above the high concrete wall across the street. While we were in the penthouse suite we were able to see this picturesque beach and watch so much activity all around us, including the security guard in the vacated lot behind the wall, and those walking on this sidewalk. Often we walked with our chairs to this beach and I intended to put this cache on the fenceline of the vacated lot, but the spot l chose to hide this was about 5m too close to the Bennies cache.
****Update April 9/13. Changed the hide and moved it over about 3 - 4 ft. or just over 1m. Hope the gardener won't find this one. Thanks to all cachers who have replaced it when it was missing.
