Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed with permission by the owner and operator of the Sunshine Community Garden. Parking is available close by the cache coordinates but only on the nearby street. The cache is placed in plain sight but very cleverly camouflaged.

This cache was placed in honour of the grand opening of the Sunshine Community Garden on the Earth Day week-end of 2012 made possible by a partnership with the Chilliwack Society for Community Living and Food Matters Chilliwack. A community garden is a single piece of land gardened collectively by a group of people. Community gardens provide fresh produce and plants as well as satisfying labour, neighborhood improvement, sense of community and connection to the environment.
