Geocache Description:

Available 7 days a week but at daylight cache only. Park either on Park Avenue or in the parking lot in the alley behind the location. No need to walk in flower beds. The cache is accessible using the lawn area.

This museum, operated by the Sandusky County Historical Society, is in a home built in 1884. It is only open from 1 till 4 on Wednesdays and Sundays or by appointment. This year celebrating the historical battle of Fort Stephenson, which took place just blocks from this site, the museum also houses atrifacts from the President Hayes family who lived here. It also provides local items that made Fremont the Cutlery Capital of the World.
