This cache is close to the western-most edge of the Starkey Wilderness Park - within Park boundaries. At this spot there is a natural bridge where brave or foolhardy explorers can cross this small branch of the Pithlachascotee River without getting their feet wet. Nature has a way of modifying these crossing points, but this one looks fairly substantial at the moment. Tree cover will play havoc with your GPS device, but the coordinates will be good enough to let you know which side of the stream you need to be on. Once in the area of ground zero, it would probably be best to just put your GPS device in your pocket and let your geosenses speak to you.
Congratulations to FloridaPanther for the FTF.
