Geocache Description:

I read Trekk's log when she found McDonald Forest Multi #5 GC3EWNP saying there were no more caches for her to find anywhere in Mac Forest. Now there's one. !

Find this cache on the 582 road. There are many starting places and the terrain rating changes with each. Start from the Soap Creek gate for the easiest path. You can start from the saddle but that is probably the longest choice. I parked at Peavy and walked over. There are many caches to grab on the way from the last two starting places. I included the parking waypoints for the last two as I know you want a longer, hike.

When I got to GZ, the views were cool. I could see several hill tops such as Old Forest Peak and Price Peak. Old Forest Peak GC2HNVZ is on top of the mountain straight out and slightly to the right. You can see, kinda, where Dead End GC3EGNR is and the answer to Who Dunn It GC3CXP3 is there someplace too! Come enjoy another cache and an awesome view.

You are looking for a larger than small but smaller than regular sized lock-n-lock. FTF prize is an unactivated travel coin.

A word of warning! There is a lot of poison oak along this road! I brought my dog and had to wash him before he was allowed anywhere in the house. I noticed a small patch within 5-6 feet of the hide though it is very easily grabbed without going anywhere near the stuff.

*** IMPORTANT *** This cache has been placed with the express permission of the McDonald Forest Recreation Manager. This area is open from dawn to dusk.
